Li Ling(李陵) was a famous ancient Chinese military general and was known for his bravery and achievements in fighting against invasions from nomadic Xiongnu. However, later history books described him as one of the most controversial figures in Chinese history after he was allegedly being forced to surrender and defected to the invading Xiongnu.
During a recent meditation, I asked about General Li Ling(李陵) and his story. GOD Michael commented that Li Ling(李陵) is a god and he didn’t surrender and deflect to Xiongnu.
GOD Michael also confirmed that Li Ling(李陵) was not a general of Han Wu Di, instead he was a general serving under Wei Jing Di魏景帝, the son of Wei Han Xin魏韩信, around 180 BCE(during the Zhong period of time; To correct the errors of the history books, I will name this period of time under Wei Han Xin魏韩信 and Wei Jing Di魏景帝 as the Zhong period of time1 instead of “the Han dynasty”.)
He was indeed descendent of Zhou Gong Wang(Laozi, Zhou Gong Wang’s sub-clan name was Li )and the grandson of another famous Zhong general Li Guang李广. He didn’t have a wife from Xiongnu as described by history books. Actually, his wife was a daughter of Wei Jing Di魏景帝 of Zhong.
Due to the coup that happened during the Zhong period of time, Li Ling’s(李陵) family members were executed in the capital by the fake JingDi假景帝 when he was the chief general stationed at the border. The coup allied with Xiongnu and attacked his army on both sides. He led his army escaping into a remote land in the north in today’s south Siberia and built a new city state there. About 300K- 400K persons, mostly soldiers and many with families in the border areas, followed him to the new location.
Li Ling(李陵) confirmed that he built the settlement (It was named Abakan Palace ruin by archaeologists) and the surrounding area. When they built the new settlement, they were the early settlers in the remote area. Due to the attacks from Xiongnu backed by Satan and the severe and cold weather, they encountered lots of difficulties and many died. Thanks to GOD Michael’s help, they eventually survived the early difficulties, settled down and prospered in the area. During his lifetime, the central plain of China was under the control of the leader of the coup, so he didn’t return. A very long time later, Li Ling’s descendents were scattered around the area due to climate change and Xiongnu’s attacks.
One of his son’s descendants and their people retreated to present-day Gan Su province and Xinjiang province. (I think the Emperor of Tang dynasty Li Yuan(李渊) was from this branch. )
Another of his son’s descendants led people retreating to the Kyrgyzstan area. A large proportion of the Kyrgyzstan people and lots of people from Kazakhstan and surrounding area are of Chinese origin from general Li Ling(李陵) and his army.

Below is a picture of the reconstruction Abakan palace in the south Siberia:

(sourced from: https://cartographer.substack.com/p/the-mysteries-of-the-chinese-palace) This is just for reference of the poem purpose; Other content is like many other materials about history, it has many errors, e.g my understanding is that Xiongnu are not ZhongGuo people and didn’t originate from the Yellow River area; They looked very different. Xiongnu were nomadic tribals in the steppe area at the time raiding other states often.
This is a poem mentioned General Li Ling from above source,
“While soldiers at the northern border vainly look toward home.
The fury of the wind cuts our men’s advance
In a place of death and blue void, with nothingness ahead.
Three times a day a cloud of slaughter rises over the camp;
And all night long the hour-drums shake their chilly booming,
Until white swords can be seen again, spattered with red blood.
…When death becomes a duty, who stops to think of fame?
Yet in speaking of the rigours of warfare on the desert
We name to this day Li (Li Ling(李陵)), the great General, who lived long ago.”

- Due to rulers influenced by Satan, later history materials assigned wrong time period to many generals and events to cover up the existence of the Zhong(中) period of time. ↩︎
