During a recent meditation, I asked about ancient Taoism and Xuanyuan Gong Sun confirmed that GOD Michael had an image in Taoism. The statue of GOD Michael was in a standing position holding a sword, similar to what Jesus described. His look was similar to the God Apollo/Dionysius and the short hair was tidy up in traditional way with a bun. GOD Michael was dressed in simple traditional ZhongGuo clothes.
GOD Michael also commented that Xuanyuan GongSun(the Yellow Emperor) was added in Tian-Daoism earlier and the later Daoism added Tai Shang Lao Jun(Laozi), Guanyin Bodhisattva and other gods.
GOD Michael also confirmed that Daoists monks were not mandatory to be single. Besides worship, the temples were also a place of teaching and studying the religion. (Many Taoist temples have another level of courtyards or separate houses for dwelling. Some temple-dwelling Daoist monks choose to be single themselves mostly because family duties were time consuming. ) I asked and GOD Michael commented that there was no requirement to keep an ancient hairstyle and Daoists can keep their hair short.
GongSun Di(公孙翟, Mozi) confirmed that many followers of Tian-Daoism in ancient times obtained some supernatural abilities including himself. The later what we called “WuXia” people(or wondering knights, translated by meaning “Daoist Knight, defender of the Dao, those who aiming at defending the common good, righteousness and justice.”) showed the pre-history Daoists and some of their abilities. The later “WuXia”武侠 persons were dressed in a similar way following the god Tian. WuXia武侠 were mostly from the early XianBei people, keeping the traditions of ancient ZhongGuo civilization and the traditions of the Tian-Daoism.

Below picture is an illustration of the ancient traditional clothing style(It’s left-lapped/left-tied clothing左衽, which was the original design that the right side cloth on top of the left side. I think it doesn’t matter for other people but for illustration purpose of this, I choose a left-lapped/left-tied.) The statue doesn’t have the outer jacket. It is what I can find online that I think is in a similar style.

Below statues are to illustrate the standing post only. Some statues in ancient China followed this posting position. (Nowadays, statues all had distortions from Satan. )
