Helios, also known as Helius, Paean, Sol(“the Sun”, ancient Roman god ), Hyperion(āthe one aboveā) and Phaethon(āthe shiningā) literally means sun, is the Greek Titan god of the Sun in Ancient Greek religion and mythology. (I also learned that the Sun refers to the great Sun in the universe, not the sun of our galaxy.) The Paean hymn was Ancient Greek worship music dedicated to Paean1, which was an older name for Helios originated from Mycenaean Greek.
Apollo, also known as Apulu, is a major god among the twelve Olympian gods and was a god of light, healing, prophecy(God of oracles), archery, music and arts etc. His most famous symbols include the lyre and the laurel wreath. In ancient Greek religion, he was seen as the god who affords help and wards off evil, and is referred to as Alexicacus, the āaverter of evilā. Apollo was venerated as the slayer of the monstrous serpent Python. Apolloās name, literally means ādestroyer of evilā, was likely originated from this legend.
The worship of Apollo was the most popular comparing to other gods in ancient Greece. For example, the majority of temples were dedicated to Apollo in ancient Greece. According to wiki among the long list of Apollo temples āThe oldest temple dedicated to Apollo Ismenius was built in the 9th century BC in Thebes, Greeceā¦The first temple of Apollo Daphnephoros, “Apollo, laurel-bearer”, is dated to 800 BC. in Eretriaā¦ā Also, the colossus of Rhodes, a famous statue of Helios, was built in 280BC, which GOD Michael confirmed is a prototype of the freedom of liberty statue.
Obviously, similar to the situation of Taoism in ancient China, there was an Ancient Greek religion that was being destroyed and disappeared about two thousands years ago. Some people called it Hellenism though modern Hellenism could be quite different from the ancient times.Ā
I asked and GOD Michael confirmed that there was an Ancient Greek religion and that the ancient God Helios/Apollo/Sol referred to him. The stories/family relationships around Helios/Apollo/Sol were all made up by Satan. For example, Apolloās twin sister, and sons were all made up2. Some of their stories about how they helped people may have origins from Apollo.
GOD Michael also confirmed that Nike was a real goddess among the twelve Olympian gods. Zeus was made up by Satan and was intended to replace Apollo, which is similar to how it made up and pretended to be “Yahweh”.
