Who Is Amun? Who Is Amun-Ra?

Amun (or Amon) was a famous deity in ancient Egypt and he was seen as a supreme deity  “King of the Gods” during the New Kingdom (c. 1550–1070 BCE). Known as “The Hidden One,” Amun symbolized air and creation, often merged with Ra as Amun-Ra. Amun was identified with Zeus by the Greeks and Jupiter by the Romans.

In ancient Egypt tradition, Amun-Ra was seen as a combination of Amun and Ra to form a supreme deity. He was worshiped as a single god to unite Egypt’s theological traditions. Amun-Ra gained chief importance throughout the New Kingdom period of time and was widely worshipped in ancient Egypt.

Recently, I asked about who Amun was. GOD Michael and our guardian Ra commented that similar to Zeus, Amun was used to refer to Satan.

Regarding to my questions about Amun-Ra, they commented that Amun-Ra was a further deception from Satan. Because Ra was a famous name in ancient Egypt, Satan couldn’t do much to Ra’s name, so it worked around to remove the widespread worship of Ra.  The deception was that Satan gave people the impression that Amun-Ra referred to the two deities, but actually Amun-Ra was deemed as a new deity(not a combination). In other words, Satan fabricated a new deity whose name is “Amun-Ra”, so that those who praying to “Amun-Ra” would be deemed as praying to Satan.

Our guardian Ra further commented that the myth of Ra is full of distortions, mostly only getting some fragments of information and his name correctly. Also he reiterated that he preferred not to be worshipped as a god because guardians have different responsibilities than gods.
